Mr. Doherty has been in the construction business for over 50 years as project manager (1967 thru 1974), operations manager (1974 thru 1978), President (1978 thru 2015). Having repurchased the firm in 2005, it is a locally owned and managed mechanical contracting firm. Mr. Doherty is a licensed master plumber in Maine and New Hampshire, a graduate of U.A. Local 131 apprentice training program and a graduate of the University of NH.
Mr. Doherty oversees day to day operations at NPI. He leads the firm's focus on sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. Before taking the helm at NPI, Sean was a pipefitter in the field. He is a member of NH Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 131 and serves as the chair to the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee.
Mr. Lakin has been in the construction industry for 26 years and has experience as a mechanic, foreman, superintendent, estimator and project manager. He currently oversees the industrial service projects, day-to-day operations of NPI’s fabrication shop and he also manages NPI's “R” & “S” stamp program. Mr. Lakin is a licensed plumber and gas fitter in New Hampshire and is a graduate of the U.A. Local 131 apprentice training program. Mr. Lakin also is a member of the State of New Hampshire Boiler Advisory Board.
